Many years ago, Network members began asking us if we knew of other members in our Network who could fill an opening on their nonprofit teams. These requests led us to begin sharing job announcements with our Network so those looking for new career opportunities and those in need of qualified candidates could find each other. Over the years, this simple practice has grown into a robust resource for both sides of the job market and we are pleased to continue it as a benefit of membership in the Leadership Network. The Nonprofit Career Exchange is built on the concept of reciprocity, one of the unique hallmarks of our Network, as it serves both the job seeker and organizations in need of additional personnel.
Job announcements are shared through a weekly email sent to Network members and others in the broader nonprofit community searching for their next opportunity. The email bulletin is also shared on our social media sites every Friday.
If you have an opening that you would like us to share, please email us the job announcement in a PDF or Word document or as a website link with “how to apply” information embedded into the document/website.
In line with our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, we strongly encourage all users of our Nonprofit Career Exchange to adopt the following equitable hiring practices:
- Be transparent about salary
- Be open to lived experience instead of a degree when applicable
- Institute fair chance practices
- Use bias-free language
