Barry began his career serving as the Chief of Staff for San Diego Councilperson William Jones. Since then, he has worked in a variety of capacities as a tireless advocate for those living in underserved communities and to represent those often missing from civic discourse. He was the founding executive director of the San Diego Capital Collaborative, an organization focused on workforce housing. Currently, he is a partner with Devaney Pate Morris and Cameron, LLP. His 35 years of combined legal, nonprofit, planning and community development experience informs his law practice and influences his work on issues of community development, affordable housing, and sustainable community development. Barry serves as a Retreat Facilitator and Advisor on Project Stone Catcher.
